Rev A Geometry Lock
The exterior profile was locked as the Rev A provisional baseline: 64 mm tall, Ø50 crown carried above the midplane, one continuous machined form.
Locking geometry is a discipline, not a ceremony. From this point, the exterior only changes in response to evidence — physical testing, manufacturability review, or safety review — not taste drift.
The Rev A profile keeps the maximum diameter above the midplane, blends the shoulder into a Ø30 neck without a hard waist, and lands on a Ø36 base flare. No knurling, no finger grooves, no decorative facets. Every surface either serves the hand or gets out of its way.
Technical Notes
- Overall height 64.0 mm; crown Ø50.0 mm with apex at Z 46.0 mm.
- Neck Ø30.0 × 12.0 mm; base flare Ø36.0 × 8.0 mm.
- Top field Ø32.0 mm with 0.30 mm recess, held blank pending maker's mark approval.
- Curvature intent: G2 continuity preferred, G1 tangency minimum. No sharp tactile breaks.
Decisions Made
- Exterior profile labeled REV A PROVISIONAL LOCKED PROFILE.
- Prototype revisions and drawing revisions are tracked independently.
Open Questions
- Final surface roughness target (working value Ra 1.6 μm) pending shop validation.
